PACKAGING FOR DANGEROUS GOODS
In addition to packaging for dangerous goods, Berlin Packaging supplies additional packaging materials such as labels, reinforced tape, absorbent materials, PE-liners and inner constructions. Marking and labeling your shipment is mandatory and organizations must identify the specific primary and secondary hazards posed by the materials in a dangerous goods package.
These communication methods are based on specific colors, codes and pictograms to clearly and immediately identify the type of material in the packaging from Classes 1 to 9. When using air transport it may be a requirement to use PE-liners in fibreboard boxes. We supply these liners for different box sizes.

For medical use we supply absorbent pouches, small sheets and absorbing vial holders. This material is dust free and is ultra absorbing for liquids.

VARIOUS INDUSTRIES
All our packaging is tested. The UN certification is an important aspect of packaging for dangerous goods, as it indicates that the packaging meets the safety standards set by the United Nations for transport of Dangerous Goods. This certification ensures that the product for example has passed a worst-case scenario fire testing, leak testing and drop testing and evaluation to ensure its effectiveness in containing and preventing hazards associated with lithium batteries. It’s essential to follow specific guidelines and regulations established for the safe transportation and storage of these hazardous materials.
