The Saf-Lok® Closures were designed in accordance with pharmaceutical industry regulations to prevent potential hazards to children. Child Resistant Closures (CRC closures) are mandated by law in many applications in order to protect children from inadvertently opening pharmaceuticals, vitamins containing iron and hazardous substances such as household products containing hydrocarbons. How Saf-Lok® CRC Closures works. when pressing down, the natural polypropylene outercap engages the indentations of the metal inner cap. Main features of CRC Closures. Superior oxygen barrier for better product integrity. Anti-counterfeiting features. Custom printing of data, information and graphics. Embossed logo stamped into the metal closure. Consumers clearly see the print through Saf-Lok® natural polypropylene outercap. Special ribbed side which aids in gripping for easy removal.
